Research Institute for Natural Materials Technology Indonesian Institute of Sciences - Yogyakarta, abbreviated BPTBA LIPI Yogyakarta, previously named UPT Center for Chemical Process and Technology Development (BPPTK) is a work unit at echelon III level at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences under the Deputy for Engineering Sciences (IPT) LIPI. This name change is part of a reorganization that aims to expand the main tasks and functions in the field of research so that the scope of activities becomes more comprehensive, not only limited to developing but also targeting basic research.
